Spinach and chickpea soup
When the iron-rich spinach combines with the fibre rich chickpea then you get a bowlful of health. Try this satiating and tasty spinach chickpea soup now.
Heat the olive oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the garlic, green chillies and spring onion whites and sauté on a medium flame for a minute.
Add the spinach and kabuli chana and sauté on a medium flame for another 2 minutes.
Add the basic vegetable stock, salt, pepper, oregano and lemon juice, mix well and bring to boil.
Serve immediately.

Maintaining health with the help of right food is quite difficult if we don’t know what is healthy and what is not. I have read about benefits of spinach in diabetes over your site and I think that this is the best way to manage diabetes. After reading, I understood that green leafy vegetables are very important to eat if we want to stay healthy. Spinach has anti-oxidant property which can reduce glucose level. This health benefit of spinach is true. I am saying this because I am still eating spinach to control my sugar levels.
